We have been to Gallery 48 many times although it's been a while since our last visit. This time the overall experience was disappointing to say the least. We were happy with the service however, we noticed very small portions sizes much reduced since our last visit I think. We ALWAYS have patatas bravas but this was by far the worst version we have ever had anywhere. Very small cubes of potatoes of poor quality served in an equally small plate/bowl so difficult to serve but they tasted as though they were yesterdays, or even the day before that, and they were not hot. They had a strange texture so might even have been frozen. We enjoyed the other dishes we had although the portion size left us unimpressed. Best thing was the goat cheese salad with fig and honey, it was lovely. All in all I don't think we will be hurrying back even with an Itison voucher. We also noticed the price of the wine was more than last time which I suppose is the case everywhere. Just an aside why is it that when 2 people are sharing do restaurants insist on giving odd numbers of certain things ? For instance we had the cod fritters but were only given 3, I'd happily pay a little extra to even things up, just give your customers 4!

I was disappointed as there were no chicken skewers or meatballs! The chicken skewers seem to be an on going issue as I have heard from other people same happened to them.
However the food we had was nice, although wouldn’t chose the ribs again.

Having been here several times was looking forward to a colleague catch up. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. Very slow despite not being busy and 3 people standing around doing nothing. Had to asked to get served and also for the bill. When the bill came the ITISON vouchers not taken off. Shame the staff have let our visit down on this occasion.
