A lovely lunch out with my wife

Nice idea to have a separate Itison menu - makes things easier all round. Macaroni and cheese, and basic pizza, and a veggie burger are good options for vegetarian kids, but a little uninspiring for adults. Some good veggie starters however. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was at about the right pace. We liked the ambience and the feel of the place. We've been here before and will be again.

Great food and service. My only complaint is allowing dogs up on seats. I've no problem with well behaved dogs in pubs but why do owners need them up on seats - with their heads levels with the table that people are eating from.

Great experience, really friendly staff looking after you. The food was really great value . We had nachos and soup to start. Steak pie and fish chips. Great portions, delivered piping hot which is a thumbs up. The chocolate brownie and salted caramel ice cream with fresh fruit garnish never left a crumb. Really warm surroundings. We were driving so soft drinks only but I had a look at the wine / drinks menu it seemed reasonable.
I recommend this cosy establishment and hope to return.

We had heard good reports of Westerton Arms and were certainly not disappointed! The food was great and the service was attentive and smiling.
