A friendly place and delicious afternoon tea

My friend & I got a lovely friendly welcome when we arrived at Annie's Tearoom. Our table was set up ready with a beautiful pink crockery set and cloth napkin. We really enjoyed the cooler drink before our food arrived. The afternoon tea looked very attractive and we both loved the selection of savoury & sweet food. We were given as much tea to drink as we needed. We didn't manage to eat everything so were offered a takeaway box for our leftovers. The ladies who work at the tearoom were really friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I would definitely return and also recommend Annie's Tearoom to others!

There needs too be more hot savoury bits instead of sweet things like a few sausage rolls and better choices in the sandwiches.

Our takeaway afternoon tea was lovely no complaints at all. So many cakes so they got eaten over a couple of days. Definitely worth the price of the voucher.

A delicious afternoon tea was served up by friendly cheerful staff. Sandwiches scones mini cakes and 2 hot snacks were provided on beautiful dishes. We could have a wide choice of teas and coffees and were offered a top up. The food itself was absolutely delicious and we thought just the right amount. You can take any leftovers home to enjoy later on. 3 different kinds of sandwiches were also on offer. Everything was freshly made and served up with a smile. Highly recommend this cafe

Really nice afternoon tea. Food was great and the staff were very helpful. There was a slight issue with our booking but it was sorted out straight away without any fuss. Would highly recommend Annie’s tearoom and we will definitely be back.

The afternoon tea was nice enough but I'm not sure it was worth £30.
I went for the takeaway option so no drinks. The sweets were nice, albeit small and no cream or jams for the scone. The cheese bite & sausage roll was tasty, but the sandwiches were underwhelming - with the cheese for example, it could easily have been elevated with some pickle or chutney - it was just grated cheese and no butter.
The cafe is nice enough but would probably stick to a coffee and cake.
