The afternoon Tea was a bit disappointing poor amount of filling in sandwiches and the scones seemed a bit stale

The afternoon tea for 4 was average. We have been a few times before in the past and 2 people got a serving platter between them to share however this time we had one platter between 4 and if felt as though everything was crammed into platter. The afternoon tea was brought out and we sat waiting over 20mins for a drink.

The restaurant itself was lovely and had a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the afternoon tea was disappointing. The portion sizes were small, with not enough cakes for one per person, and they appeared to be shop-bought rather than freshly made. Staff were extremely busy, so there were no tea refills or offers of additional drinks. Overall, it didn’t feel good value for money. I’d rate it 2 out of 5 and probably wouldn’t return.
