Avoid!

Hotel reception was quite nice then once out of the lift it quickly became apparent that the hotel was quite dated. Got to our room and we were greeted with an unpleasant smell. One of the chairs had a rip in it, there was a hole in one of the walls, there were loads of dirty marks on the carpet and the curtains were different lengths. The shower was just a trickle no matter how much you tried to adjust it, the body wash had clearly been watered down and there was mould in the shower and dirty marks on the tiles around the sink. Walls were paper thin could literally hear people speaking next door. As for the spa facilities didn’t even attempt to use, so can’t comment. Breakfast was nice. Extremely disappointed and wished I’d look at the reviews before booking!

Spa,shut for work
Restuarant was only open for breakfast
Room was ok but lots of issues with toilet
No grab rail on shower
Shower rail ready to fall off wall
Toilet was needing a good clean
Breakfast could've been warmer
Though plenty choice.
This is one of my favourite hotels for short breaks.

My wife and I have used this hotel on several occasions and intend to continue doing so. Last week we were there and went to the theatre and the hotel laid on complementary transport for our convenience. It was much appreciated.
Well worth a visit

Check in was seamless and quick and throughout all staff were helpful and courteous. The room was great with underfloor heating in bathroom an added bonus given that it was November. The bed was very comfy with plenty of tea coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was a buffet and had a great variety to suit all tastes. The spa area was clean and loved the steam room.
Add in it was a 100yards fr main Pitlolochry street and all at a very good price we will defo be going back Thanks
Fab 👍.

Lovely hotel. Been revamped since we stayed many years ago and work still ongoing albeit unobtrusive.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We stayed in room 306 which was a few stairs up but it was worth it.
Quirky with low ceilings in parts but nothing to worry about.
Large bedroom with dressing room and also ensure bathroom.
I will definitely be requesting this room next time we return.
The lift wasn't working which wasn't an issue to us but I noticed staff helping another couple with luggage which was lovely.
There are a three lounge areas which meant we could sit quietly and enjoy our coffee in the morning.
Breakfast time was busy but the staff were so friendly and kept smiling and you felt like part of their family.
I really would recommend a stay here.
