We had a problem with heaters on first night, wouldn't turn off, fixed next day.

A lovely relaxing break

We often go to Peebles Hydro for short breaks and love it there. The hotel is near the town so we like to walk there and explore the local shops. The hotel itself is lovely with friendly professional staff. We paid extra for a room with a view which was great. The weather was rainy and we had a drip coming in when the rain was heavy but we didn’t want to move to another room as we were unpacked. The only downside was the internet was sketchy where the room was located but it was no big deal for us as we weren’t using it much.
The 2 night deal with dinner and breakfast was very worthwhile as we could relax and enjoy the facilities.

Very welcoming and nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfasts and meal in the bar were good however our dinner in the restaurant was very poor. Not a great choice and tasteless starter and 'recommended' main was less than one star. Overcooked and dry with totally inedible prawns on top. Given a (small) discount. Disappointing.
May visit again if the food is improved.

Stayed here several times, only 40 minutes from home. Lovely spacious hotel, always clean and warm, we had a lovely big room. It is always busy but nothing is a bother to the staff, always helpful and polite. Great selection at breakfast, dinner menu nice and can adapt some dishes to gluten free. Big selection of cocktails and we were happy that the bar showed the Scotland Rugby game which we won.

We had a nice time at Peebles Hydro, loved the room thought it was really clean and comfortable. I was a wee bit disappointed with the food in the bar, I ordered a hamburger and just found the patty wasn't great. Staff were really lovely and service was great.
The only thing I would say is the pool is a bit dated and the photos of it on the itison site oversell it a bit. It wasn't unclean but there were obvious signs of rust and some bits that looked a bit dirty but I think it was just worn, and the pool was quite cold. It felt a bit like a leisure centre swimming pool rather than a nice hotel pool.
Other than this everything else was really nice.
