We stayed in the luxury pod for a night and had the best night's sleep in the pod , all very clean and modern , the breakfast was excellent and the staff were amazingly kind.
Very disappointed- underwhelming welcome, slow service, one meal so undercooked it had to be returned.

The Itison voucher was purchased as a gift for other family members because our previous stays at Murrayshall had been so enjoyable. We were embarrassed when they reported back after their visit that it had not gone well. The welcome was grudging. They ate in the bistro without being offered an up grade to the restaurant - which had been a highlight of our previous visits. Waiting staff seemed to be very young and poorly trained, for example they failed to point out the "specials" board. The service was slow and when the food eventually arrived one meal (a chicken dish) was so undercooked it had to be sent back. Staff seemed overwhelmed by the demands of wedding going that afternoon/ evening. Overall, extremely disappointing and well below the standard expected.
