We stayed as a family of 6 in The Highlander Cottage. Accommodation was great and the surroundings were beautiful. The floating pontoon at the loch was a fantastic base to enjoy the kayaks and SUPs we brought as well as some wild swimming. Mark was a great host and very accommodating re booking in days etc. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Myself, my husband, baby and dog stayed at Frenich farm for 2 nights in the Bothy. Beautiful bothy, very clean as well. On arrival the host Mark was welcoming and helpful. There are highland cows on the farm and gorgeous views of Loch Chon. Such a great location and a superb price. Mark and his wife kindly gifted us a highland cow teddy for our baby on leaving, a very lovely and thoughtful gift. We will most definitely be back. If you are looking for a family and dog friendly holiday in the beautiful trossachs then this is the place to book!

Absolutely faultless. Mark who owned the cottage was super helpful. The cottage had absolutely everything to make the stay feel like home. I brought my 15 year old son with me and he gave it a 10/10 and usually he’s tough to please 😂

We had a 2 night break at Frenich Farm. Beautiful setting, very comfortable bed and kitchen had everything.
Stronachalar Pier was about 4 miles away and there was a path from the cottage for those more adventurous than us. Food was excellent and views outstanding.
We did walk from there to Inversnaid (9mile round trip) along the Old Military Road. Very easy walk on a good path which runs parallel to the road.
Well earned drink afterwards at the cottage overlooking a meadow with 3 highland cows and swifts flying around.
Really peaceful in s lovely rural setting, birds singing, and undisturbed during the whole stay.

We had everything we needed in the cottage, everything was thought of, the shower was hot and powerful. Would highly recommend.
