Was ok

Staff were very helpful and professional. Lovely products in reception which I bought. Facilities ok but when I went into the hydro pool there was a collection of debris and dirt in the water at the step - a shocking amount. The ice room also out of order. I just can’t relax if I think things are not spotless. So for me it kind of was a spoiler. Good value apart from that.

I always enjoy my time in the spa.
Improvements could be the length of time certain jacuzzis are on, i.e. increase the time of the largest one and perhaps putting "out of order " signs on working hot beds.
Very relaxing.

I had a relaxing afternoon at the Spa, the seaweed bath was nourishing for my skin. I enjoyed the afternoon tea which I chose to have in the restaurant as opposed to the Spa Lounge. Overall the experience was good value.

Our vouchers were for a 2 hour thermal experience in the spa. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Explained the thermal and the layout. We then enjoyed all the thermal experiences which were all so relaxing.
Loved the massage and high tea

A really lovely experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Is the thermal experience overpriced?

Thermal experience - it's expensive for a couple of saunas and a steam room.
There's a lot of rooms packed into a small space, and not enough loungers to rest on inbetween. However, the numbers of guests in at one time is small.
It's a hot space. The pool was surprisingly hot, and as the ice wasn't working, it was hard to cool down.
There aren't any explanations to the rooms, which would have enhanced the 'experience', along with somewhere to sit and rest between rooms.
I'll keep exploring other spas rather than rush back.

We had a lovely day at the Blytheswood hotels thermal spa. Everywhere was very clean and well signposted. The only downside was the lack of loungers and sitting areas. I realise there isn't a lot of room for seating but this would impact our decision to go back. The staff were friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious and plentiful.
Relaxing and recharging my batteries.

Yes@ To have full experience of the spa available at all times including from 10am every day. Having been a previous and regular guest. When I have the earlier time slot not all facilities are available eg calming scenes projected on the wall and wet floors (very slipy) accident waiting to happen.
