Took my friend and 2 grandkids on arrival we had lunch then onto the pool and sauna. After with we had dinner

On parking could see the outside of the hotel needs a bit of attention.
Checked in went for lunch in a room that had lovely view. Linen tablecloth .
Had bite to eat and a coffee each. Food very good , coffee hot and tasty.
In room smallish but spotless,
view again was good .
Bathroom had bath with overhead shower .
Headed to pool , had a lovely relaxing afternoon.
We had booked to eat in the restaurant.
What a lovely big room . Unfortunately no linen tablecloth, table was badly marked .
We both ordered steaks, with an additional sauce.
Mines was delicious, hubbys unfortunately wasn’t.
We both slept well , breakfast was ok
I watched a young server top up the orange juice with apple juice 😳
Would I go back , probably not .
Aged building not what I expected

Looked forward to 2 days of relaxation but the gym was getting redone so it was closed for weeks never been informed of this if I was I would have changed dates, the health suite was okay ,we stayed in room242 which was nice but there was no pressure on the shower it just trickled out,very poor
On the bright side the breakfast was good ,very disappointed in my stay
Very pleasant stay - friendly, helpful and profes staff. Looking forward to an early return visit. Highly Recommended.

Only observation was that my friend who uses a mobility scooter had difficulty accessing the lift because the door kept closing before she could access the lift. Perhaps the timing could be extended slightly to allow people with mobility challenges and luggage sufficient time to enter/exit the lift. Otherwise particular thanks to the most helpful and professional staff. Nothing was too much bother. And most enjoyable visit. Many thanks

Prefare to have a freshly cooked breakfast, rather than queuing to help yourself. Staff were lovely, but wont rush back .

We paid a £20 premium for a ‘feature’ room fully expecting a bigger room.
Although the room had a great outlook, there was not enough room to swing a cat and the chairs in the room did us Pensioners no favours.
Staff were good and the food was very good.

The Hotel reception, bedroom, dining room and pool area were excellent.
However in our room 3 there was any Intrernet connection other guest in room 8 had the same problem. Reception said they were unaware however domestic staff said it is a problem in different parts it the building.
Evening meal was very disappointing. Choice limited and expensive which is fine if the quality was excellent however the soup was definitely not homemade at both our main courses were different but we both were left very disappointed.
Maybe with all the coach parties there the kitchen was under pressure.
We would go again but not eat dinner in the restaurant.

So good I stayed an extra 2 nights and have booked again on July ( as a rebooker got 20

Large clean room with beautiful view over Tweed valley. Breakfast was ok and a buffet, the black pudding, haggis and hash browns were very soggy so avoided them the next morning, dinner was excellent .
