We stayed in the Glenburn for 3 nights in a room with a sea view and it was so worth paying extra to have it. The room was well fitted out, nice carpets and bathroom had bath and shower which was great. The hotel has been tastefully upgraded and was very pleasant to stay in.
The food was excellent with generous portions and a varied menu and was really well priced. We also thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfasts. Although the hotel was very busy, staff were very polite and helpful.
Would definitely recommend a stay there if visiting the Isle of Bute. -

We really enjoyed our stay at The Glenburn. The setting was beautiful, the hotel was full of old charm, staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the elevated hotel terrace with a glass of wine watching the evening sky was nothing short of magical. Our room was well appointed. Comfy bed and warm shower. All good.
