Far better than expected
Reviewed on
A lot of the reviews for the Great Western were quite derogatory, but whilst it is in the process of being refurbished, it was clean, comfortable and the staff were good. One of the reasons we go to Oban is the abundance of good restaurants, but I couldn’t fault any of the meals we had in the hotel.

Tired

The hotel is in need of refurbish and modernisation of the rooms. On the plus points the staff were friendly and room was clean. The location was also good.
