This was our third stay at The Mercure! Such a lovely hotel in a fab location! The staff are lovely! The rooms are so nice and so clean! The breakfast is the best we have in any hotel! Don’t think twice!

Warm, comfortable very central hotel. Great views looking east across the city.
Great staff, bar food and drinks, all at reasonable prices. Clean, warm, bright and comfortable room.
Noise from nightclubs up to 2pm apparently but it didn't bother me, as I took out my hearing aids. This could be annoying to other guests
Breakfast food quality was never in doubt but buffet type service resulted in the "hot" choices being decidedly cool. Lack of
choice of eggs, fried or boiled, lack of quantity of eggs.....
Plates and bowls in short supply.
Breakfast didn't ruin the stay but the catering staff should know the temperature of the food is not acceptable and the service staff could be more efficient with restocking bowls and plates.
