Wonderful relaxing weekend with friends in fabulous surroundings

We were w couples and a dog and had a fabulous time in self-catering apartment which way exceeded our expectations. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with very comfy beds and very high quality bed linen. Spacious bedrooms and spotless bathrooms and kitchen/lounge was amazing with patio doors onto wooden balcony overlooking large garden and river north tyne at far end. Ate in hotel bar and all thoroughly enjoyed our food and very friendly service. Great bonus of decent sized hotel pool and sauna which was very welcome after our paddleboarding on the river. We will def return.
