We stayed one night in a standard room - which happened to be a corner room - really nice plus spacious bathroom. It wasn't our first stay at the Sandman Glasgow. Each time we have really enjoyed our stay. The area has undergone a huge amount of construction which these days is not so close to the hotel and the street is looking so much better. Staff were lovely. Breakfast very good - the CHOP bar/restaurant is a lovely bright space. The only slight criticism was with the lifts at breakfast time. One appeared to be out of commission for quite a while during which time quite a number of overseas visitors had checked in - mostly with large items of luggage - unfortunate timing as they were confused with the hotel levels and were mistaking the CHOP floor with theirs. Maybe a member of staff could be on hand to assist in these situations? We are able to use the stairs but for some to access the higher floors thats not always possible.
Otherwise, this is a great choice for a stay in Glasgow. If you are coming by car there is parking close by. Public transport is also easily accessible. -

Very good experience given complimentary room upgrade, much appreciated. Staff all helpful and friendly. Hotel lovely and clean in good location. Breakfast food was good would have liked some fresh chopped fruit like melon ...pineapple at breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.
