Heard so many great recommendations for here and it didn’t disappoint. Welcomed by a warning open fire on a very cold day (although couldn’t get the seat nearest :-)) in the lounge for drinks and menu choice . A little bowl of olives came with our drinks which was a lovely touch . We opted for the 4 course lunch and although the plates are the biggest the flavour and presentation more than makes up for this . Little extras like the crisps with hummus dip , sourdough bread and amuse bouche added to the experience. Staff were attentive and friendly but not overly so that you feel awkward.
Favourite was the dessert hot mango and lime mouse like a souflee with coconut crumble, delicious!!
Will definitely be back .
