Tyne Theatre & Opera House
- Grade I listed theatre, built in 1867 by industrialist and politician Joseph Cowen
- One of the few theatres left in the world with wooden modular stage machinery, including four bridges, a demon and a fairy trap, object traps and more
- The Theatre is rated in the top 4% of listed buildings by English Heritage and holds a three-star rating (the highest) from the Theatres Trust
- Independent not-for-profit venue and a registered charity, with all profits going back into the maintenance and preservation of the building for the benefit of future generations

- Voucher must be booked by Wed 23 Sep 2026 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
- You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.
- Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise restaurant at time of booking.
- Soft drink option: Includes a half pint of lemonade, cola, diet cola or soda water each.
- Alcoholic drink option: Includes a 250ml glass of wine or bottle of beer each. Alcohol can be replaced with a soft drink.
