We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of days in this area and the Wheatsheaf was a perfect location . Staff gave us personal service and were very friendly. Our room was spacious and in very clean condition. We appreciated a welcome pack of water, coffee, tea etc.
We enjoyed an absolutely delicious dinner, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
Bed was super comfy and it was quiet and peaceful. -

The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere which immediately made for a comfortable short break.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and did what they could to ensure all your requirements were met.
Dogs were also made to feel welcome the only place they weren't allowed w a sin the formal dining area however the bar was ideal for eating with my dogs at my side.
