Our experience at Chop House was wonderful. Having been on previous occasions we knew what to expect. Both the quality of food and the service was outstanding. A definite thumbs up from us and looking forward to our next visit.

Disappointing Meat

We were really looking forward to this meal - Rump steak, fries and prosecco for 2.
The waitress was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The ambiance was very pleasant, as well. Sadly the rump steak was disappointing. It arrived the perfect colour for medium rare - but was shockingly tough. The matchstick fries were good, but insufficient to make up for the disappointment of the meat. We enjoyed our prosecco but if we fancied more than the glass each included in our itison deal - a bottle would have cost us £50! (I don't I've seen prosecco for that amount on a menu anywhere in the world!)
All in all - a disappointing meal at a restaurant that normally enjoys a good reputation.
