Courtyard rooms are quite small, but do contain everything you need, perhaps apart from drawer space for clothes. So accessible to castle with parking outside the door of the courtyard rooms. The castle was amazing, food excellent and staff exceptionally nice.

Our 3rd visit to Lumley castle.
Rooms are small but always comfortable and clean . The staff are very friendly, breakfast included & excellent as is the glass of Prosecco.
We have eaten in the bar & restaurant and the food is very good.
It is great value for money and will definitely use again when visiting family in Durham.
