A Partick favourite for years, family-run 279 Café Bistro has built up a loyal fanbase of locals and those travelling from further afield to try their menu of bistro favourites. Go for lunch and you and a friend can choose from a range of delicious pastas, burgers and ciabattas, whilst the dinner menu offers up heartier delights like black eyed bean and butternut casserole with rice.

  • BBQ pulled pork burger with lettuce, tomato, onion rings, chips and salsa
  • Chicken Milanese – breaded chicken breast on spaghetti Napoli
  • Spaghetti gambaretti with king prawns, chorizo and chillies in garlic tomato sauce
  • Pork and black pudding stack on mash with red wine jus
  • Fillet of seabass on thyme and garlic potatoes with leek purée
