We had a lovely afternoon tea in the Windows restaurant at Carlton George. The female member of staff could not have been nicer. There was a good selection of food, plentiful supply of tea and loads of time to enjoy it. My only criticism was it was a “festive” afternoon tea and the advert showed Christmas themed cakes but in reality a mini mince pie was the only Christmas element.

We had one gluten free afternoon tea ordered and three normal. They apologised that they had run out of gluten. Free bread but if we didn’t mind waiting they would get some. We told them no problem. While waiting they gave us tea and coffee. Our festive afternoon tea was great.
