We’re offering a five hour beginners’ textile workshop with the experts at Bespoke Atelier at The Glue Factory in the City Centre where you’ll learn a variety of printing techniques to produce your own tote bag for just £25.
From creating stencils to using a silkscreen, Bespoke Atelier’s beginners’ workshops will enable you to create your own designs on fabric through a variety of processes.
Throughout the course you will develop your own imagery but will also be provided with ideas and examples to enhance your motifs. Each person will have access to professional screen-printing equipment for the duration of the course and will be supplied with all the necessary dyes and chemicals to print with. Bespoke Atelier will also ask you to bring a selection of interesting fabrics you wish to print on in order to experiment and create technical samples.
After experimenting with a variety of printing techniques using your design, Bespoke Atelier will provide you with a tote bag for you to transform into a finished hand-printed product.

- Class dates: Sat 10th & Sun 11th Mar, Fri 6th, Sat 7th & 8th Apr, Sat 21st & Sun 22nd Apr, Sat 12th & Sun 13th May, Sat 26th & Sun 27th May, Sat 9th & Sun 10th June, Sat 23rd & Sun 24th June, Sat 7th & 8th July, Sat 21st & Sun 22nd July.
- Valid for 14 years old plus. If under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult who will also need to take part in the class (i.e require a voucher).
- Max of 15 people per class.
- Please wear old clothes.
- All classes will be for beginners level of ability. For more advance classes, please contact Bespoke Atelier directly for further details.
- Multiple voucher purchases permitted.
- Advanced booking required. The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
- If you cancel your class, Bespoke Atelier will try and reschedule you in for another date if available. If there are no spaces the voucher will be forfeited if you cannot attend on the original class date agreed.
- Vouchers must be surrendered for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.
- Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
