I had mistakenly booked for a weekday at 11am (and staff member mistakenly took the booking). When we turned up they weren't open till noon, and it's weekends only!
They were very nice and kindly offered to honour the booking at noon, but I couldn't stay that day.
Booked for the Sunday instead.
The restaurant is pleasant, it was a hot day and we were next to an open window looking out towards Middle Meadow Walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We both enjoyed our meals. I had a glass of merlot which was very decent and under £5. I hate feeling I'm being ripped off, and will forgo a drink if the price is ridiculous.
I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while, and am glad I did. Happy to return. -
