Here’s what to expect on the big screen:
A Muppet Christmas Carol (U) – Dec 21st & 22nd - gates at 3.30pm / movie starts at 4.30pm
Starring a full cast of your favourite Muppets including Kermit and Miss Piggy alongside Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge, The Muppet Christmas Carol is a side-splitting, musical, Muppet re-telling of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. A must-see for the whole family and children of all ages this Christmas.
Elf (PG) – Dec 21st & 22nd - gates at 7.30pm / movie starts at 8.30pm
One of the funniest Christmas movies ever made starring Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf. You know the rest, this is one son-of-a-nutcracker of a movie.
Home Alone (PG) - Dec 23rd & 24th - gates at 3.30pm / movie starts at 4.30pm
When 8 year old Kevin’s (Macauley Culkin) parents take a vacation to Paris at Christmas time, they forget one very important thing. No, they remembered to lock the garage door…but they forgot Kevin. Thankfully Kevin’s there to protect the house against idiotic burglars Marv (Daniel Stern) and Harry (Joe Pesci). A fantastic movie that’s fun for all ages.
It’s a Wonderful Life (U) - Dec 23rd & 24th - gates at 7.30pm / movie starts at 8.30pm
Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without this James Stewart classic to remind us what’s really important this festive season.
E.T. (U) - Dec 26th - gates at 3.30pm / movie starts at 4.30pm
A classic and heart-warming Steven Spielberg blockbuster. See ET the Extra-Terrestrial get to grips with life on earth before Phoning Home. Starring a young Drew Barrymore, this 1982 is a classic family movie.
Die Hard (18) - Dec 26th - gates at 7.30pm / movie starts at 8.30pm
We’ve all been to terrible office Christmas parties but this one really takes the biscuit. When NYPD cop John McClane’s (Bruce Willis) wife Holly is taken hostage by German terrorist Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) at her Christmas bash, John must strip to his best white vest and crawl through ventilation ducts a-plenty to save her. A classic Christmas action movie.
