  • In 1901, Glasgow's very own Charles Rennie Mackintosh entered a competition to design a "Haus Eines Kunstfreundes", or "Art Lovers House"
  • Despite being disqualified on technical grounds, the judges were impressed with Mackintosh's unique design
  • More than 70 years on, and Mackintosh's concept became a stunning and truly inspirational reality
  • The fun doesn't stop there - make a day of it by exploring the maze, or wandering around the Victorian walled garden
