Oktoberfest has a long tradition which started in Munich 200 years ago as a celebration of gathering for the harvest. It’s now one of the most famous events in Germany and is the world's largest fair, with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year.
Get the experience of Munich at Glasgow Green and join in the huge party with live music from “Bayern Stuermer” and “Obenheimer Express Band” from southern Germany as you tuck into delicious German beer and Bavarian sausages.
The large tent holding 2,500 people is located in the centre of Glasgow Green and is characterised with blue and white colours and long tables with all waitresses and waiters dressed in their finest Dirndl and Lederhosen.
