Great food and an incredible view of Edinburgh. The waiters were very friendly.

  • Delicious food with lovely views

We had 4 course tasting menu. Began with 3 thick slices of warm sourdough bread and butter. Glad I kept some bread, as second course was haggis bon bons with whiskey sauce. Sauce was delicious and mopped up with bread. Then came coley, served with sliced potatoes, samphire and a sauce which was possibly tomato and pepper. I should have paid more attention to menu. Dessert was pannacotte, topped with coulis, fresh rasps and cream. All washed down with a glass of sparkling wine. Portions were generous, food delicious and staff helpful.
