The Silverwells is a stylish restaurant and lounge bar located in the heart of Bothwell. Now under new management, The Silverwells occupies a grand Victorian building meticulously restored to its original splendour and illuminated by a Swarovski crystal chandelier and magnificent stained glass windows.
With today’s itison deal, brought back by demand, you and a companion can tuck into your choice of starters such as brandy and chicken liver parfait, haggis bon bons or Silverwell’s prawn and crayfish cocktail.
Mouthwatering mains may include pan seared sea bass with pak choi, crushed potatoes and a soy and chilli sauce, roast rump of lamb with garlic pomme puree, creamed savoy cabbage and red wine jus or wild mushroom risotto served with rocket, parmesan and a basil pesto.
And if you opt for a dessert you can tuck into delicious treats such as chocolate orange mousse with a hint of Cointreau served with home-baked shortbread, lemon cheesecake with berry coulis or, if you really can’t decide, why not try the trio of desserts with chocolate orange mouse, sticky toffee pudding and lemon cheesecake!
