Had a great time meeting the meerkats although they were not as interested in us - only the food we were tossing around for them. The keeper was friendly and knowledgeable. On the menu was courgette and live meal worms. If you're squeamish about handling that you probably won't want to do this.
The rest of the aquarium was lovely, clean, with lots of interesting creatures to look at. The marmosets are a bit shy but too cute for words. It's quite dark throughout but steps are fairly clearly marked. There's no cafe but the burger joint next door was excellent - I'm always happy to see vegetarian options. -
Great meerkat feeding experience for the kids!

Kids loved this, the Brazilian Biologist staff member was great with them, sharing lots of knowledge about the meerkats and answering all the questions! The meerkats behaved impeccably and the kids had a great time.
