  • Fregola with sun-dried tomato dressing, shallots, mint, dill & asparagus, butter bean fine-herb hummus, crispy chickpeas, pomegranate seeds and endive marinated in blood orange vinaigrette
  • Shetland mussels steamed with white wine, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, smoked bacon & cream with sourdough bread, burnt lime and dill 
  • Rich and creamy mackerel pate, cornichons, cucumber ketchup, pickled cucumber and toasted sourdough bread

Mains

  • Sweet & spicy Sri Lankan coconut curry, fragrant jasmine rice, lotus root and radish topped with a grilled skewer of harissa cauliflower 
  • Citizen steak pie slow-cooked in red wine & port with Cumberland sausage, butter puff pastry, your choice of mash, truffle mash or rustic chips 
  • Beer battered haddock with burnt lime & malt reduction, garden pea purée and rustic chips with home-made Tartar sauce

  • Service was impeccable, all cocktail sampled were excellent

    Poor choice of rose wine I felt.Starter of salad with beetroot mouse was not aesthetically pleasing and was bland with no taste.This starter needs revised dropped.
    Mains were much better.Service and customer care was excellent though I dont agree with an automatic charge for only two guests.Selection of cocktails were exceptional and tasted great.We would return fir drinks but maybe not food.
