  • Fregola with sun-dried tomato dressing, shallots, mint, dill & asparagus, butter bean fine-herb hummus, crispy chickpeas, pomegranate seeds and endive marinated in blood orange vinaigrette
  • Shetland mussels steamed with white wine, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, smoked bacon & cream with sourdough bread, burnt lime and dill 
  • Rich and creamy mackerel pate, cornichons, cucumber ketchup, pickled cucumber and toasted sourdough bread

Mains

  • Sweet & spicy Sri Lankan coconut curry, fragrant jasmine rice, lotus root and radish topped with a grilled skewer of harissa cauliflower 
  • Citizen steak pie slow-cooked in red wine & port with Cumberland sausage, butter puff pastry, your choice of mash, truffle mash or rustic chips 
  • Beer battered haddock with burnt lime & malt reduction, garden pea purée and rustic chips with home-made Tartar sauce

    The staff couldn't have been more accomidating, we had to change our bookin time as the trains were cancelled and we were therefore running late

    Great food lovely staff, very efficient and attentive. A most pleasant experience.
