very enjoyable afternoon tea in a lovely hotel

We were able to park near the door of the hotel which is a help if you are not good at walking. The staff were welcoming and showed us to our table, even although we had arrived 30 minutes early.
The sandwiches had interesting and delicious fillings, including smoked salmon. Four small scones with cream and jam were provided, all fresh and tasty. The next item was the selection of cakes, eight in total, a great way to finish this delightful afternoon tea.
This was a high quality experience at a very reasonable price.

The staff were very attentive and pleasant it was a joy to be there,
The afternoon tea was excellent, one of our group was glouton free, she is Canadian
And said she would never get the lovely food on her cake stand
In all we had a great afternoon. Xx
