The Tall Ship Glenlee - a bucket list day out!

  • Docked in front of the Riverside Museum on the River Clyde
  • Explore this unique, historic maritime asset - an impressive piece of Glasgow history - with a knowledgeable tour guide
  • Visit the galley, ring the bell and explore the depths of the ship
  • Find out what life was like on-board in the 1890s for the people who sailed her
  • Restored to her former glory, she is just one of five Clydebuilt steel sailing ships still afloat, and the only one in the UK
  • At 86 metres long, this impressive ship was powered by the wind alone and could carry 2,600 tons of cargo with a crew of just 25 men
  • The ship celebrates it's 126th anniversary this year and was featured on STV, BBC Scotland and The Glasgow Times
  • The independent museum is free to enter and dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the ship, the maritime history of the area and for the benefit of the local community & visitors to Glasgow

  • Voucher is valid from Mon 1 Apr 2024 until Sun 30 Jun 2024, Wed & Fri only, 2pm-4pm; subject to availability.
  • Excludes Sat - Tue & Thu.
  • Voucher must be booked at least 48hrs in advance and by Fri 21 Jun 2024 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
  • You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking. 
  • Tour duration approx. 1 hour.
  • Afternoon tea only; menu is subject to change;  vegetarian options available; please advise restaurant at time of booking. No gluten or wheat free options available.
  • Max of 6 people per table.
  • Wheelchair access available; please note there are some areas of the ship which are not accessible due to steep staircases.
  • Advanced booking required or risk forfeiting your voucher.
  • The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.
  • The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
