- Grand in name and grand in nature, this historic hotel was owned by the Duke of Northumberland and has survived two world wars and the 1930s depression!
- Almost 30,000 afternoon teas are served every year in the hotel's gorgeous brasserie - loved by locals and visitors alike, you know it'll be a treat to remember
- It’s also played host to an impressive list of guests ranging from actresses, politicians and sports stars since being built in 1872
- Set upon a cliff top in the historic seaside town of Tynemouth, the hotel boasts magnificent views of Longsands beach and the North Sea

- Voucher is valid from Fri 5 Sep until Sat 18 Oct 2025, Fri 10am - 6pm, Sat 9am - 6pm; subject to availability.
- Excludes Sun - Thu.
- Voucher must be booked by Fri 10 Oct 2025 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
- You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.
- Multiple voucher purchases permitted.
- Afternoon tea; menu subject to change.
- Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise restaurant at time of booking.
- Option 2: Includes a glass of Prosecco each. Alcohol can be replaced with a soft drink.
- Wheelchair access available.
