- It’s also played host to an impressive list of guests ranging from actresses, politicians and sports stars since being built in 1872
- Set upon a cliff top in the historic seaside town of Tynemouth, the hotel boasts magnificent views of Longsands beach and the North Sea

- Excludes Sun - Thu & 31 Jan, 14 Feb 2026.
- Voucher must be booked by Fri 20 Mar 2026 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
- You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.
- Multiple voucher purchases permitted.
- Afternoon tea; menu subject to change.
- Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise restaurant at time of booking.
- Option 2: Includes a glass of Prosecco each. Alcohol can be replaced with a soft drink.

My friend and I had an amazing relaxing time at the Grand Hotel for a reasonable afternoon tea. The staff were very polite and friendly. The sandwiches were lovely and it wasn't a problem to swop one flavour for another. Both the cheese scones and fruit scones were delicious and a good selection of sweet delights.
