A firm favourite with North East foodies, as well as a hotspot for passing cruise ship guests, the River Café catches its sensational seafood dishes locally – you may even catch some boats operating right outside the restaurant’s windows! With its dedication to culinary excellence combined with impeccable service standards, it’s no wonder that this charming restaurant has maintained a prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand Award for seven years running!
