Voucher can be activated for your Explorer pass via citylink.co.uk until Thu 30 Apr 2026.
Once redeemed the pass is valid for 12 months. Travel period begins when activated on board via scanning your QR code or when reservation is made online. Once set the start/expiry date cannot be changed.
Option 1: Valid for 3 days of unlimited travel over 5 consecutive days.
Option 2: Valid for 5 days of unlimited travel over 10 consecutive days.
Option 3: Valid for 8 days of unlimited travel over 16 consecutive days.
Unused travel days expire at the end of the selected validity period.
Travel is valid on all Citylink services within Scotland. Not valid on the 923 service to Belfast and third-party services.
Vouchers cannot be combined, split or used for multiple bookings.
Reservations are recommended, particularly during peak periods. Seats may be reserved free of charge by booking online and selecting the 'reserve explorer pass' option from the dropdown. Enter your explorer pass number and trip details to reserve your seat.
Trained assistance dogs, guide dogs and small animals fully contained within a transport-approved pet carrier are permitted. A ticket must be obtained for any animal carried at a charge of £1 single; these can only be purchased on board. No other animals permitted.
One child under 5 years of age not occupying a seat and accompanied by an adult passenger will be carried free of charge. Any additional child or children, accompanied by the same adult, and all children aged 5-15 years inclusive will be carried at the 30% Discount Fare unless stated otherwise; book and pay directly.
Citylink is not responsible for travel disruption caused by events outside reasonable control (including but not limited to weather, road conditions or operational issues).
If misuse or fraudulent use of voucher codes is detected, Citylink reserves the right to cancel tickets without refund.
Cannot be applied to or used in conjunction with any other Citylink tickets or products.
Multiple voucher purchases permitted.
