We were using the Sunday roast voucher, and the roast beef and trimmings were delicious and an ample portion.
We purchased staters and wine all of which were excellent.

The food in Red Onion is delicious with an excellent vegan menu. I have been going for many years but this visit was let down by the service. I ordered a glass of white wine and when it arrived there was red wine sediment in the bottom of the glass. I took it back up to the bar and explained to who I think was the manageress. She simply said "Oh" and took the glass away. No apology at all, she really didnt care.

The food was delicious and plentiful - all homecooked. The desserts were A M A Z I N G!! The bruleed banana cheesecake was to die for!! Once in your mouth - it turned to banoffee cheesecake.

No, all good although it looked as if the Itison guests were sat apart from the other guests which was a bit unusual.

I’m so glad I found this itison deal as the menu we were offered had far more choices than the ordinary fixed price lunch menu. The food was really good and the service was good. I would definitely go again.

This is only our 2nd visit to Red Onion & both occasions have been wonderful. Food is really delicious, staff are lovely & welcoming even when you can see its very busy, great customer service. A place we will certainly be back to & recommending. Thank you for a lovely time.
