It's always a bit cold when the door opens although the staff were very helpful and put the fire on but even at that there's a draught from the entrance. Food nice but the menu hasn't changed for years. Could do with some new dishes.

Brought a friend for her first visit to Red Onion and she was delighted with the food. I liked the slight change to the feather blade of beef, sweet and smoky! As always, staff friendly and attentive so always a comfortable atmosphere when dining here. John would be proud of you all !

It’s really easy to book. I purchase vouchers and redeemed them the same day without any trouble. I was seated right away and given time to mull over the menu.Food was delicious.

Visited on 29th May at 2.30pm for a late lunch. Have been many times over the years and have never been disappointed as food always great and wonderful staff. Thank you 😊
Great food, though stuffy atmosphere and was over charged.

The roast beef dinner was perfect and thoroughly delicious, however we found the atmosphere uncomfortable and stuffy. We also enjoyed the Negroamaro wine but were charged for a bottle when we only had 500ml. The difference was refunded when we pointed this out after payment had been made. Staff were superficial and lacked genuine warmth.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the Red Onion for Sunday Roast. Food most enjoyed and would certainly recommend.
