The service was good but the food was poor.

The food was below average, the chutneys had been in the dishes for a long time & tasted fusty, the poppadums were oily & didn’t taste freshly made, the kirma & butter chicken sauces were lukewarm & again there was a stale taste. As late afternoon diners the food tasted tired as tho it was leftovers.
Delicious food and portion size was really good

Wouldn't improve anything. Starters and main courses were delicious and naan bread was fabulous. Portion size was great. A lovely meal out.
This restaurant is consistently excellent - best Indian in the area without a doubt.

Food was excellent. My son and I asked for both of our dishes to be made 'Madras' strength and we were not disappointed! Service was good as well. I couldn't finish my meal and was able to take it home in a takeaway container - lunch was good the next day as well.

We paid our first visit to Maisha late Sunday afternoon. I had vegetable samosas as a starter, which were nice and crisp and tasty. Followed by South Indian chilli chicken which was delicious, and the chicken tikka was nice and tender. My wife had vegetable pakora starter, which again had a nice crisp texture, and chicken bhuna main course. Here was the only issue we had as it says that chicken tikka would be used, but it was plain chicken. She left some, which I thought I could “help her” with, but it wasn’t as good as the chicken tikka. I left it, which is unlike me! Overall though a good experience.
Worth a visit for the food

Food was fantastic, no complaints at all regarding that
My only complaint is that we visited on a Saturday night.
Place was jumping, tables full, people queuing, I felt we were very rushed by staff to get finished for next people to sit down.
Food was delivered hot and everything looked lovely but we didn't get to enjoy it properly.
Once our starter was taken away, the mains were delivered to table straight away ..no time in-between to relax a bit.
I felt all tables were treated the same.
Don't take so many bookings, let people enjoy the fab food on offer.
