Excellent food and service. Despite being late lunchtime on a Thursday, the dining room was full, the room was warm and cosy, and atmosphere relaxed. It's always a treat to dine here.

From arrival to departure you have a wonderful experience. The ambience of the restaurant is calm ,warm and welcoming. Staff are professional and attentive. The food is excellent and it is a fantastic dining experience. I look forward to returning again.

Second visit here and it did not disappoint. From the moment you enter the service is first class and professional.
As for the food it was simply delicious. From starters to the pudding if was sublime.

I HAVE BEEN MANY TIMES TO THE BUTTERY. VERY GOOD./FRIDAY 28th WAS A DISGRACE ON ALL COURSES. IHAD FOR MAIN COURSE CHICKEN WHICH WAS EATABLE BUT IT WAS ON TOP OF A MOUND OF GLUTENOUS TYPE RICE AND THE REST. THE TABLE NEXT TO US COMPLAINED AND WERE NOT HAPPY .I DID NOT COMPLAIN AS I DID NOT WANT TO CAUSE ANY UPSET TO MY GUEST

Have been to The Buttery numerous times, with and without itison vouchers. We love the food, the service and the atmosphere in their restaurant. We would definitely recommend a visit.
