We throughly enjoyed the whole experience with friendly attentive staff. It had a really nice ambience with a pianist playing on the piano (it was a Friday) lovely tasteful traditional Xmas Decorations. Will definitely return again in the future.

Food was bland service was very pushy told we had 1/2 hour to leave table and I get you have a turn around… but so many empty tables really no need for it . First time 4 of us had been there for food and we all agreed we wouldn’t come back . Shame as building is fabulous but

Surprised by the atmosphere in the Anchor Line given that it was early evening on a Thursday: busy and buzzing. Food was very good, service excellent and the set menu good value.

A terrific deal, we had a great time, the food was really good and felt it was really good value for money. The service also was impeccable.
