Went for lunch with family and it was very good. Fish and chips were absolutely delicious - batter was light, perfect! The restaurant was very clean and tidy and the waitress was extremely polite and attentive.

The ashvale was quiet when we arrived which was a shame as the meal was lovely - fresh fish fresh chips and creamy coleslaw

I have been coming here since my daughter could eat solids. She is now 11 and still loves her fish and chips. The staff are really nice and can't do enough to please you and make sure you enjoy your meal.

Both had battered haddock and chips. Batter was soggy and chips very palid. It was edible but far from what we remember the Ashvale’s usual standard was from a few years ago. Service slow too. All in all, a disappointing experience.
