It exceeded our expectations. We had a large comfortable ensuite bedroom, very comfy bed, with a super shower. Staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. Food was very good in restaurant which had exquisite views. We were lucky with the weather, so lovely with the Autumn colours.

The hotel is in a lovely setting with pleasant grounds to wander around. It is cosy and comfortable, although we found the room too warm with no ability to regulate the temperature. Food and restaurant were very good, but we were disappointed not to be offered the same menu advertised online. We were asked to book our evening meal in advance, but it was neither in the place we asked for ( lounge bar) or was the menu suggested online.

It was excellent, more than expected comfortable, clean and staff were friendly and attentive.
Disable facilities were also excellent, everything in place ramps at all the necessary places and shower room excellent.

Grand rooms, comfortable vibe and with great views over the loch and hills. Food is good though selection limited. Would like to see the return of the bar menu to complement that of the dining room.

It is a lovely place to visit, lovely staff and food. However, "faded grandeur" describes it well. Bedroom was warm, clean and comfortable.

Love Stonefield Castle, beautiful setting with Loch Fyne views across gorgeous gardens . Staff are very friendly and always helpful in every way. Restaurant was excellent too, hope to return soon.
