From the very cheerful welcome as we entered through the street door to the equally cheery hello when we arrived on the 7th floor, we knew the afternoon was going to be good. Even the dull, drizzly day outside which diminished the amazing views across Glasgow's skyline could not dampen the experience... a great selection of fresh sandwiches, haggis bonbons, sausage rolls, scones and multiple types of cakes were presented beautifully with endless tea, delivered each time with a smile. The time passed all too quickly, but we would definitely go back.

The restaurant was a sea of calm in the bustling City Centre. Service was excellent. Staff were prompt, pleasant and attentive.
The food was fresh and plentiful. There was an array of sandwiches and a wrap, soup, sausage rolls, scones and a number of cakes.
My only minor complaint was that other than the Christmas Tree shaped biscuit and mince pie was it wasn't overly festive. Could have been doing with a bit more Christmas bling.
However, overall a big thumbs up

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with prosecco at the Carlton George Hotel. The little scones were warm (always a bonus) and the sandwich bread was so fresh and soft with hearty sized fillings. Individual teapots were a great idea and each poured 3 good sized cups of tea. The service was outstanding and our server was so lovely and friendly. We well definitely return

What a lovely welcome on arrival. Shown to a nice seat at the window. Served very well. A pot of tea for me coffee for the hubby also prosecco and excellent selection of cakes sandwiches and small soup and mincepies sausage roll all mini as it a tea . All in all a lovely afternoon
