Lumpy Mattress

Breakfast and Dinner buffets were very good, room was spacious with twin beds, mattress in one bed was lumpy and had squeaky springs, Wash hand basin tiny, only enough room for one hand at a time and both taps were unable to turn off. Nice big lounge area to relax and have a drink. Good news, only in that bed for 2 nights and gone home to recuperate and book a massage.

Overall a good experience. Good food and decently priced drinks.
Air conditioning is definitely needed for the courtyard rooms.
Staff could be a bit more attentive when they see you waiting to be served not putting their heads down and walking right past.

Quality hotel room, great food with excellent leisure facilities in the Cairngorms. Only improvements is a better check in systems as waiting in queues is a nightmare.
The hotel was ideally situated for our purposes over the weekend that we stayed. The room was quite comfortable.

We and our party had a great time during our stay. We had family with is from America who were thoroughly enjoyed their time at the resort and surrounding areas.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was included when we booked and it was excellent value.
Poor room

Stayed scores of times as Hilton and now Brittania but worst room ever. The walls were all marked. shower was tiny (with mould) and toilet looked like it hadn't seen a good clean in weeks,. Whole bathroom needed a deep clean. Complained after getting room, but was told hotel full. Went to complain and give feedback at checkout but very rude lady said I don't have time to listen, I have a group call in two minutes and left the reception.
Why on earth was she on reception and asked how she could help.
Outdated and horrendous check in

The hotel rooms seem as though they haven’t been updated in the last 30 years, the check in took nearly an hour and the woodshed was filthy.

The resort was family friendly with a good pool, games area and a soft play. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Lots of coach tours though. Staff were friendly. A nice basic hotel for enjoying Aviemore.

Hotel staff were great, reception, bar & restaurant areas all clean & fresh.
Room was clean, tidy & readonably sized. It was a bit warm - they had provided a fan but AC would be a great upgrade.
Leisure facilities were good - clean, roomy changing areas & the pool was a nice temperature.
Breakfast - lots of choice & regularly refreshed.
All in all, a great stay

We were hesitant about staying here after reading some previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was small and a bit tired but it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful albeit a little slow. It’s very family friendly with a fantastic big play park and soft play.
Great location for seeing Aviemore. Would absolutely stay here again!
Check in was easy. Room was upgraded very clean. Breakfast was decent. Swimming pool was excellent. Overall a great stay
