Very relaxing but got noisy towards the end

Been going to the Coylumbridge with my daughter for a number of years now and always enjoy it. One minor annoyance, no longer an ATM in the hotel which meant a trip into Aviemore to get cash to use in the arcade as the cash/coin exchange machines would only accept notes and not cards.

This was our third stay at Coylumbridge with our dog. Great choice at breakfast, food in bar great too. I enjoyed a swim and sauna. Updated decore throughout hotel is needed to bring it up to date. Otherwise a great hotel.
Room was awful. We were situated in the extension block that was filthy and I can only describe it that way.

Stop using the extension block rooms for guests until you clean it up. New beds, carpets, and decoration.
The bar and pool areas were much nicer and it made the stay more pleasant.

We've been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. The room, although maybe a little bit tired looking, was clean and had everything we needed.
The staff are always very friendly and the buffet type meals have a great selection and are always very good. The hotel is a good base for exploring the amenities and surrounding area.

No lift, narrow staircase with carpet loose on stairs, reception area was not very organised, and only one man trying to deal with numerous people. No tea, coffee etc in our room. Bed very uncomfortable.one of the worst hotels we have stayed at, would definitely not go back or recommend to anyone.
Breakfast was okay.
Very tired looking hotel, needs updated.
And we had to pay £20 extra for staying on a Saturday night????
Run down hotel

Unfortunately the hotel is run down . We were puut in the annex rooms , walls paper thin could hear people taking in the room next door . Rooms weren’t ready at 3pm for check in . Asked for an extra pillow as no spare in room at 11.40 and it was 0045 before i got them . Staff were very rude and abrupt in the hotel with the exception of the leisure staff who were very pleasant . Breakfast wasnt the best in the morning very little staff on and took a while to get seated . Bar in the main area closed at 10.30pm and eating places were restricted times . You had to use the carbto travel anywhere. Would definitely not return . We had 6 rooms booked at this hotel and everyone felt the same

We go ti aviemore at least once a year the hotel staff and food was excellent and i would go back with our 2 digs
However i was surprised that when i went to leave a tip for the staff that i could not add that to my card i dont carry cash however found some money in my wallet and i gave it to the young man as i work in the catering world tips on card should be allowed then give to staff in tronic tip system when no cash sales happen
Please sort this as thats how people tip now and i look forward to hearing from youand just to let you know in the past 10 years i have worked with Cawley hotels the Rad Group and now Manorview and all allow this form of tip
Great for a one night stop

Room for us plus dog was comfortable and clean, a good atmosphere in the lounge and live music in the Woodshed bar. Lots of great walks in the area for the dog and a cold water swim for me.
Food was disappointing but it was great for a night and day stopover.

The hotel is very tired. Our room was ok albeit VERY VERY warm even with the window open and the weather wasn’t particularly warm. The bathroom was dirty and for some reason, toilet brushes aren’t provided. The food was also average. To be honest, I don’t know why itison is promoting this.
