We've enjoyed afternoon tea here before, pre covid - having had our graduation ball here in 1989 when it was an experience to be savoured. Different owners & focus given the club atmosphere at the bar.
Food was just adequate & looked fine but tasted of very little.
Scones arrived warm but then became rock cakes, presumably they were microwave reheated.
If you serve Bellini don't slop it over the sides so the whole glass is sticky.
The positive was the staff were friendly & helpful & couldn't be faulted.

No major complaints. Staff and service good.
Value ok for price paid with voucher but not worth the full price without voucher

Staff very attentive and pleasant.
Surroundings are lovely.
Food was ok - cakes a bit dry and my GF sandwiches weren't great ( I could make a plain sliced cheese sandwich at home, if I really wanted one!)

Staff were great when one of our party was delayed half an hour. The afternoon tea was slightly disappointing, though - two different types of cheese sandwich and no others, and the cakes were just too 'clever' for us - but the scones were good. Included 'kir royale' was half a glass. When we ordered a glass of Moet each, we were given rose. Replaced with normal, then we were charged for the more expensive rose when the bill arrived. Not one of the best afternoon tea experiences in Glasgow, despite the lovely surroundings.
