Had a lovely time, meals were very quickly prepared and were delicious. It was snowing during our stay and it was lovely to see how much the hotel staff enjoyed this as they had not seen snow before.
It would have been lovely to have seen the open fire lit but perhaps there was a reason that it wasn’t.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Morar Hotel. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals were amazing. We had booked two rooms, one was nice but the other was not up to a good standard. It felt like we were in the attic and although it was warm enough the room itself was very tired. We were told that all the rooms were full but we didn't see very many other people in the hotel.

Looking a bit tired especially in the 1st floor hallway and room we had...Lovely staff...great location....We were upgraded to a sea view at no extra cost...evening meal and breakfast were first class

Excellent stay, staff were so friendly and helpful, room was very good and clean, very comfortable bed.
Food was great and plentiful, very well cooked and an excellent choice.
I will book this again.
We booked in for 3rd October which was the night that Storm Amy visited ,although this was no fault of the hotel

Loss of power with no contingency plans in place place which meant no dinners ,no cooked breakfast, no heating ,no hot water, no tea or coffee,no phone or internet and no effort by hotel .They made cheese and tomato sandwiches and tried to bill us for them to which we complained & they presented a bar bill of £62 although we do not drink .Guests sat in lounge area with no lighting and no candles .Hotel made no effort in anyway to look after their guests and I am afraid we have paid our last visit here

The bedroom had everything required, just needed some TLC on the finish.

Well what can I say...the staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The walks around the hotel are amazing and a short drive from Mallaig village and Arisaig. We had a wonderful time.
