I enjoyed my day , sun was shining and people were friendly.
Toilets were first class.
I thought food and drinks were overpriced. Bring down the price and sell double the amount ‼️‼️
Overall really nice day out.
Lots of yummy food and drink in a fun and relaxed atmosphere,

First time visiting this festival and will certainly return. Plenty of things to see and do for the whole day. The live music was great. Participated in a cookery masterclass which was an amazing experience. Went to a wine tasting and a bakery demonstration. Loads of food and drinks venues. Highly recommend!
Expensive to get in, not as good as it used to be.

We last went in 2007, and it is a very different festival now. It used to be that local restaurants would sell several affordable small plates, and you could try different items. Yesterday, it was food vans, and we were only able to buy one dish each due to the price. There were few samples to try, and as they were mostly alcohol, our children could not partake. Our 12 year-old had been looking forward to cooking, but couscous was too simplistic for him.
The shows were good, and our children liked the rides. The bakers present were very good. We would possibly go back if our children wanted to go on the rides next year, but not for just the food aspect.
Not value for money

We were very disappointed with the event. Very few food stalls but many bars with over priced drinks. The music was good but the event was very underwhelming. We will not be going again, no idea what the £18 plus entry fee was for. We did listen to a good talk on Villa Maria wine, but even this was spoilt by rude people talking all through it.
The weather added to the day

The foodies festival used to have lots of vendors selling equipment to use in the kitchen, famous chiefs demonstrations and lots of sample foods to taste, unfortunately these have disappeared the last year few years - the festival is more if an eating fast food. drinking and listening to music now which is such a shame - I dint know if I would attend in the future!
