Overall the hotel is just beautiful and all the staff were so friendly.
Itison small print caused embarrassment as it was food only and not drink however this was rectified.

From the minute we walked up to hotel we were met by a very friendly doorman. A warm welcome from Alexandra at reception who was very informative and efficient. It’s very rare these days to go to a hotel where every member of staff you meet is friendly and helpful. The grand sets a high bar on customer service. Great choice of food at breakfast and loved the choice of restaurants . Enjoyed the relaxed dining in the Spa after treatments. Only one criticism was a hotel guest did not like the tarrif for use of steam/sauna/dip in pool especially after paying for accommodation,restaurant and treatments. Also numbers should perhaps be restricted to non residents. The hotel is run very well and manager should be commended for this.

Great break only one small disappointment when it came to my wife and I receiving our welcome drink in the bar we asked for 2 house white wines and we were told that we were only entitled to one which I thought was a bit strange as we were giving a personal envelope with our entitlement of either presseco house wine or a beer little did I know it was just for 1 was a small detail but I think you should just take the glass of wine you include on your voucher off as it’s not a nice look but apart from that we had a great break

The Grand Hotel is in an an ideal location 5 minutes from the train station and a few minutes stroll from the Shambles. The staff throughout the hotel are warm and friendly and, if a similar promotion was advertised in future, I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

Hotel is in a great situation for all attractions. Rooms are really comfortable and spacious , food is excellent and would definitely go back. Staff are really helpful which makes the stay an enjoyable experience. Thanks to all .

Really enjoyed our stay at The Grand. Ideal location for sight seeing with easy access to the railway station.
All staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was very good.
Would have liked a magnifying mirror in the bathroom but otherwise accommodation was very clean and comfortable.
